The French people are weird. In public they are very helpful, even though they don’t speak English and I can’t understand French. When you need a stroller or some luggage up some stairs, they will help you lift it. Or if one of the kids get hurt, they help it up and give some candy. Old people love the children. They look at them, pet them and try to talk to them. The oldest Elle always try to say, a little bit rude, “we speak English!”
As a tourist in a city like La Rochelle it can be hard. Most of the restaurants don’t offer a continue service, dinner is served between 19:00 and 22:00. Besides that they either only serve drinks or are completely closed (except for lunch time).
To work with, the French are horrible. They got their break between 12:00 and 14:00. If you want things done, you have to meet them face to face. And they are quick with saying “not my problem anymore” or “I don’t care if you don’t like me, after this I won’t have to see you ever again”.
I am busy trying to find a way to get my photos uploaded. You will have to do it with text right now.
